Since our inception in January 2023, we have successfully built a solar training program, established a training location in Limuru, Kenya and trained our first cohort of young adults in solar energy installation skills, equipping them with the knowledge and practical skills needed to contribute to the renewable energy workforce and drive positive change in their communities. We have partnered with the National Industrial Trading Authority (NITA) and are currently collaborating to offer specialized industry-recognized certifications in solar installation, plumbing, and electrical skills. The local impacts of our training programs are rippling into our communities.

As we continue this work, in alignment with our mission to address local needs by increasing the use of renewable energy and by empowering vulnerable youth through environmental and technical education, our current goals are to: 

• Establish a train-the-trainer program and develop solar workshops newly trained instructors will lead to mobilize and educate young adults, small scale farmers, and pastoral community members.

• Upgrade our training center with high quality technical equipment and bring it in line with industry standards in order to participate in the adoption of new technologies and increase the value of our programs to our participants. 

• Establish a demonstration center to showcase the benefits and applications of solar energy in agriculture, which will provide local communities with practical insights and resources to adopt sustainable farming practices.
